She was born on August 3, 1927, in Ogden, Utah, to Albert David Hirschi and Josie Carter. She was raised in Rosette, Utah, with many joyful reminiscences together with her six siblings. She moved to Brigham Metropolis to complete out her highschool years. She began working at First Safety Financial institution in Brigham Metropolis after ending college.
